About Us

We are the only official wand holster artists at Universal Orlando! Bientro is an Elven word that means ‘create’. We began Bientro in 2015 and are a Veteran-owned small business in Orlando, Florida. Our company logo is Chopper, a mini long-haired tri-Merle dachshund, whom we lost in March 2021 at the great age of 16 1/2. Bientro artisans are Nelson, Janet, Lori, and Carriann. You can find Bientro’s leather products at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure at the Heraldy store, local comic and steampunk shows, and Renninger's Mount Dora's Industrial Steampunk Show every year in October.

Bientro sells online via Amazon Handmade. Soon, our website will be revamped to become an e-commerce site! Everything is handmade and never mass-produced! The Bientro team specializes in leather, chainmail, 3D printing, digital download prints, and laser printing. They also create custom and bulk orders. 

Bientro is Veteran-owned and located in the USA. Everything is handmade by us! Our story begins in 2015 when Nelson suffered a heart attack brought on by Type 2 Diabetes. While Nelson recovered, he decided that he needed a 'hobby'. Janet agreed to work on this hobby of leather crafting, but with one requirement - we would step outside of the box on traditional leather crafting and create other pieces of leather art, in addition to the many art forms. We have been creating leather cosplay pieces for people who attend Cons and other festivals for over 5 years! We are also the official leather wand holster manufacturer at Universal Orlando for the Harry Potter fans. 

Bientro was born after we searched SciFi and Elven dictionaries for a word that would define out love of art. Once we knew we wanted to focus on the word "create", we found "Bientro" in an Elven dictionary. Our logo was created by Janet and is a silhouette of our mini long-haired dachshund, Chopper.

While our holders have been relocated to the Heraldry store, it is just across the way from where the Shop of Wonders was located.

Our line of leather goods will change and is based on the available leathers. We want to offer a variety of products that are unique from what we see in the typical leather world. Most of our items will be one-of-a-kind items. On request, we will attempt to remake previously sold items but will need the time to create the item(s).

We live in Central Florida and love going to theme parks and meeting people from all over the world. Sadly, on March 23, 2021, our beloved Chopper went over that rainbow bridge at 16 1/2 years old. He had been and will continue to be our muse for our business.
